The rebranding of Vila Nova de Milfontes’ identity endows the city with modernity, while reflecting concepts linked to its history, culture and people. A rich culture of unity, of giving and receiving, that results from the sum of many parts: the fishing industry, agriculture, its cultural heritage, its landscape, architecture and traditions. And, above all, a community open to everything and everyone.

In the logo, a landscape of its own develops: the silhouette of a fish merges with the silhouette of a landscape: a mountain and a sun. These elements, that we can glimpse through the outline of a window, come together to offer Vila Nova de Milfontes a crown, declaring her “The Princess of Alentejo”, a historic nickname given to the city.

As seen in the animated logo, Vila Nova de Milfontes has been given an iconography of its own. Based on circular and triangular shapes, symbols of the local architecture, these icons permeate the city: identifying services, monuments, landscapes and branding the city’s posters, its website and merchandising.
